Angela's extensive background includes strategic planning, workforce development, grant administration, instructional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and regional collaboration. She is passionate about creating meaningful career pathways that connect learners to high-demand industries while strengthening communities through education and workforce partnerships.

Angela brings extensive experience in Career and Technical Education, school administration, and regional workforce development. Most recently, she served as GO TEC Director at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR), where she led the statewide expansion of GO TEC Career Connections and strengthened partnerships among K-12 education, higher education, industry, and economic development organizations. Previously, she served as Director of Career, Technical, and Adult Education for Pittsylvania County Schools, Principal of the Pittsylvania Career and Technical Center, Assistant Principal at Chatham High School, and agriculture and biotechnology teacher.
Throughout her career, Angela has focused on expanding access to high-quality career pathways, supporting educators, aligning educational programs with workforce needs, and creating opportunities that prepare students for successful futures.
