Career Background:
Justin brings a diverse background in manufacturing operations, technical services, and workforce engagement. Most recently, he served at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR), where he directed the Industry Engagement team for the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) program and developed relationships with employers nationwide supporting the shipbuilding sector of the Defense Industrial Base. Previously, he served as a technologist in the Chemistry Lab at BWXT, operating test equipment for nuclear fuel and reactor components. Justin began his manufacturing career at Abbott Laboratories as a processing operator for liquid nutrition products, advancing into roles as shift lead, trainer, project coordinator, and third-shift processing operations manager. In these positions, he served as a liaison among production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and safety teams while leading process improvements and operational initiatives.
Throughout his career, Justin has focused on improving manufacturing processes, building strong industry partnerships, solving complex operational challenges, and developing collaborative teams that drive organizational success.
