Expertise and Experience
Timothy Robertson serves as the Chief Operating Officer and co-owner at TECHnista, LLC. Prior to joining TECHnista, Robertson held the role of Chief Operating Officer: Manufacturing Advancement at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research. In his career, he has been involved in developing and leading regional, state, and national manufacturing workforce talent pipelines, investing over $175 million and impacting thousands of students. He also played a crucial role in the creation of a manufacturing optimization center, focusing on additive manufacturing, CNC machining, and Industry 4.0, which involved a $25 million investment.

Robertson is a CNC machinist and programmer by trade. He holds a B.A.S. in Leadership from Averett University, an A.A.S. in Social Science from Danville Community College, a diploma in Precision Machining Technology from Danville Community College, and numerous national manufacturing certifications. He has extensive experience in leading high-performance teams.
